"Caught up in the touch, the slow and easy rush.
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be?
..Just breathe." - Faith Hill
On Wednesday I have my first haute couture fashion shoot. I'm talking two gorgeous models, hair, makeup, ridiculously fanfuckingtabulous fashion, diva vintage jewelry, props, beautiful sets (indoors and out) - the whole works. I'm shooting it all on my own - just me, two tripped out cameras, a tripod, natural light and Coco. This shoot is not for Vogue or some ad campaign. It's much more important - these photos are for a small beautiful year old Parisienne-esque boutique to use in whatever way they wish. My client believes in my art enough to give me this opportunity and, quite frankly, I'm freaking out! I'm so nervous and more than a bit scared. This is my 'Camille-Paris' experience times 100.
I had planned to write a long post but, a few moments ago an old dear friend sent me a message to take with me on Wednesday. It set me straight, centered me: "Savor the moment. Today's choices are tomorrow's stories. Drink it in. Be present. Do your thang. You got this." Oui, je fais.
Vivre! Rire! Aimer!
