Tasting the stars...

"There is nothing more beautiful than a sunset,
viewed over a glass of chilled champagne."
- Jared M. Brown

A few Springs ago I shared a yummy champagne cocktail recipe with you. Well, I've recently stumbled across a summer champagne cocktail that is equally as delicious. Oui, you know I have to share it with you ;-} But before we begin, first things first...

     While this champagne cocktail can be enjoyed any and everywhere, in any and every season, in order to experience it's fabulous fizzy fruity flavor fully I would highly suggest that you drink it in its proper natural environment - on the beach (with the grit of sand between your toes and the water lapping at your feet). Also preferred, but not required: fresh fruit, cheese, pate and/or summer sausage, and water crackers. Et bien sur, flowers and romantic music ;-}

     Okay, what you'll need:

A well chilled bottle of Korbel Extra Dry Sparkling wine
*Well chilled = 60-90 minutes in the freezer

San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa

Bubbles times two
Since this refreshing fruity drink is carbonated, it not only
doesn't dilute the champagne's effervescence, it adds to it.

Two 4-6 oz. juice glasses

- In each glass, add two to three ice cubes
- Into each glass, pour the Aranciata Rossa 1/4th full
- Fill each glass to the top with the Korbel (3/4ths)

Et voila!
This summer champagne cocktail tastes like
a sunset and the stars combined! Savourer!

Vivre! Rire! Aimer!
