"I wonder if I've been changed in the night?
Was I the same when I got up this morning?"
Alice, Alice in Wonderland (1865)
For several months now I've been seriously comtemplating making a huge shift/change in my life; to take that final leap into living the life I've dreamed of - a life that I create, a life that (succeed or fail) I live on my own terms. But I have not been 'serious' - only dipping my toes in, now and again - yeah, I was totally afraid. Nonetheless, late into the night and into the wee hours of the morning I...worked.
Then in May, on a day when I hit my rock bottom (okay, actually fell pretty hard and bruised my round brown booty), when I dragged my tired-self home, I opened my inbox to find that my tentative forays had resulted in a concrete offer - the opportunity to live a life that had only existed in my wildest fantasies.
This weekend I had my first opportunity to go down this particular rabbit hole - to embark on an adventure into the unknown - to Wonderland...
A few of the amazing gorgeous creatures who life in Wonderland.
In Wonderland I frolicked, hobbnobbed, sipped and nibbled with the natives - who whole heartedly welcomed me into their motley fold. Yes, I'm deliberately being vague and opaque. I will not be posting about my 'new' life here (gonna have a new, entirely separate blog/'site about it). It suffices to say: what a trip it was, I think I'm gonna stay...
