Ballet doesn't care what color you are, who you love, how much money you have or what political party you belong to. When you dance you can't hide or fake it, lie or bullshit. You don't have to leap the highest or twirl in place a dozen times to be worthy.
All that dance asks, demands, is that you give your all, get lost in the freedom of movement. To dance is the purest most joyous expression of the spirit, the soul. It is the thread that connects us all. So plie, pointe, twirl, leap...dance!
