Yesterday I spoke to a good friend, I have not spoken to in awhile. We were doing the usual good-girlfriend-thang, catching up with what had been going on in our lives since we last spoke, when she gave me a wonderful compliment. She told me that she regularly follows my blog, reads each post and looks foward to the next. All I could think was WOW, I didn't quite know what to say. Of course I was/am wildly pleased. Bloggers blog to share and it feels really good to know that we're connecting. I asked her: "Why don't you ever leave a comment?" And she said that she didn't know why ;-)

Posting from my T.A.R.D.I.S. is a solitary thing, I know that my fellow bloggers can relate. Sometimes it seems as though our posts go out into the ether and...Well I've been thinking about my conversation with my girlfriend, wondering why some people comment but most do not; and why I suffer from the same affliction (okay suffer might be a bit over the top). The answer I came up with? I don't take the time. Oh I follow and read a good half dozen blogs regularly, and regularly check in with another half dozen sporadically (always an enjoyable experience) - but I rarely leave a comment.

So, I'm going to start leaving more comments and I'm asking you to do the same. Please feel free to offer post/subject ideas. Is there anything in particular you'd like to know about Paris - the best sites, travel info and advice, fashion, food, culture?
